Created in 1973, the Riviera's return last 2021 aims to revive the spirit of a distinguished watchmaking era. Celebrating its 50th anniversary last year, the fifth-generation Riviera lineup introduces two new elegant models that are ready for some offshore adventure. Nicknamed "Azur", this multifaceted Riviera is an ideal watch for water sports and features a 42 mm brushed dodecagonal stainless steel case equipped with a uni-directional rotating dive bezel and an octagonal screw-down crown. The bezel features a design with a black lacquered treatment that marks the gradation of the first fifteen minutes, has luminescent markers, and sports a black anodized aluminum ring for precision handling. Safely within is a transparent smokey gray sapphire dial layered with a wave pattern motif and adorned with black, white and luminescent skeleton hands, applied indices, and Roman numerals at the 6 and 12 o'clock as hour markers. Complementing it further is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a date aperture between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions, and the brand's emblem as the counterweight for the central second's hand. An integrated stainless steel bracelet secured by a push-button deployment clasp completes the tough and sporty look. This watch has an exhibition caseback showcasing the in-house caliber Baumatic BM13-1975A, a Swiss automatic movement boasting up to 5 days of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 300 meters/1000 feet.
