This military watch is a faithful reissue of Longines's production from the interwar period. An epitome of a timeless and understated design, it is numbered and limited to 1,938 pieces, a fitting tribute to the actual production year of the model that inspired it. Features a 43 mm stainless steel case that holds a matte black dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, rhodium-plated and luminescent pencil-style hands and Arabic numerals as hour markers. Staying true to the original, the typeface and dial proportions are retained. The "sea urchin" shaped crown at 3 o'clock and small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock also give it a vintage military appeal. Adding to the patinated look are the dial texts, subdial outlines and chapter ring similar to the hands and numerals in cream colored Super-LumiNova®. Fitted with an anthracite gray calfskin leather strap secured with a stainless steel signed buckle. It also comes with an interchangeable cognac brown NATO strap for a variety of looks. This watch is powered by the caliber L507.2, a Swiss manual-wind movement and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
